Michail Kravchenko has defended his PhD on the P2 experiment at MESA. He has optimised the helium-gas based cooling system of the tracking detector. He has also designed the magnetic optics and collimators for the detection system of the P2 Moller polarimeter and demonstrated their performance in extensive simulations.
